Welcome to HotMood (which appears inside the app as "Brasa"), a sexual wellness and intimacy app for adult women (18+). These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and HotMood that governs your access to and use of the app and related services. By creating an account or using HotMood, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use HotMood.
1. Eligibility and adult content (18+)
HotMood contains adult sexual wellness content and is intended exclusively for people who are 18 years of age or older. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Our content is suggestive and focused on intimacy, pleasure, and self-discovery — it is elegant and tasteful, not explicit pornography. If you are under 18, or if adult intimacy content is not lawful where you are, you may not use HotMood.
2. Your account
To use most features you need an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when you register, keep it up to date, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. You may create an account with an email and password or, where available, through Apple or Google sign-in.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use HotMood lawfully, consensually, and respectfully. You must not: use the app for any illegal purpose; harass, abuse, or harm others; attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; probe, bypass, or interfere with the app's security or systems; reverse engineer the app except where the law expressly allows; or copy, scrape, redistribute, sell, or publicly perform our content without our permission. Anything you do inside the app involving other people must be consensual. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe create risk for us or other users.
4. Premium subscriptions
HotMood offers optional premium features through paid subscriptions. Subscriptions are sold, billed, and managed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device, and are subject to those stores' terms. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to the policy of the store you purchased from; we generally cannot issue refunds directly. We may change subscription prices and features going forward, and any price change will apply only to future billing periods.
5. Content and intellectual property
The stories, audio, games, courses, text, graphics, the Luma experience, the HotMood and Brasa names and logos, and all other content and software in the app are owned by HotMood or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the content for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment within the app. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, or create derivative works from our content except as expressly allowed by these Terms or applicable law.
6. AI-generated content
Some features use artificial intelligence, including the Luma confidante and generated stories, voices, and images, powered in part by third-party providers. AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not to your taste. It is provided for entertainment and wellness purposes only and does not constitute medical, psychological, therapeutic, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional. If you have a health concern, please seek the help of a licensed professional. You are responsible for how you use AI-generated content.
7. Notifications
With your consent, HotMood may send you push notifications, such as reminders for your daily ritual, streaks, and new content. You can turn notifications on or off at any time in your device settings or within the app. Managing notifications does not change your other obligations under these Terms.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
HotMood is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any content will meet your expectations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all such warranties. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of these may not apply to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HotMood and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for our willful misconduct or, where applicable, for personal injury caused by our negligence.
10. Termination and account deletion
You may stop using HotMood at any time, and you can delete your account directly in the app at Profile → Delete account. Deleting your account ends your access and removes the personal data associated with it as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the app and its users. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to HotMood, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that the law of your country guarantees you and that cannot be waived by agreement.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. Your continued use of HotMood after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
